Brass accents in the bath...

It is amazing how everything seems to make a comeback.  This bath is classic and modern all it the same breath which I love.  The two different mirrors make it feel real and I think that is the most important part about a beautiful space!

Wishing you a wonderful comeback this week!

Decadent bath

This bath makes my heart skip a beat with it's simple beauty and decadent details.  It feels like it is halfway between two worlds and is an excellent example of how we can combine the two without loosing anything.   I am in love.

a little green and white..

Totally loving the simplicity of white and greenery with natural elements lately.  So clean and simple- which is what I need to sooth my hurried mind!  What do you have planned for this weekend?  Just soccer games and work here but I am glad to have a quite schedule to try and get things back to normal around here.

Whimsical bath

I love the whimsical feel in this bath.  The sink put me over the edge.  I think that little bit of softness makes this room feel so great.  Wishing you a wonderful Saturday!  Is it really fall?  I am not so sure here in California it is 90 today.

I am completely loving these pics.  Totally smitten with the details in black, I think they make the spaces.  I cannot believe we are already at Friday!!  I hope you have amazing plans for the weekend or no plans at all which is pretty amazing in itself!

greige in the simple bath

This is so simple and yet so fun!  I love it.. I have found lately that my taste is varied, I am having a hard time putting a finger on my personal style, because I like a little of everything it seems..
Possibly over exposure I think..

Little grey bath

I am in love with the simplicity of this bath, the wall tile has me searching the internet to find it!!!

It is so light and airy- does anyone know what tile this is??  I must have it for my kids bathroom!

Update!!!  Thank you Catherine and Megan for the emails on the tile!  It can be found here!

Our Master Bath...

It has taken a while, a long while, but our Master Bath is finally done.  I am so excited to have it complete and be able to use it again!  It is clean and simple just as I had hoped.  I am still working on accessories and I feel like I want to add something to the walls, but for all intents and purposes it is complete.

We finally decided to use the wall mounted faucets which I am very happy we did, it is just a little bit different from the norm.  We mounted them just above the back splash and they are great with the vessel sinks from Kraus.

I love the Walker Zanger tile accent, it is just what we needed for a little something special in the shower.

We used soapstone on the counter and bath tub.  Which is so pretty, a little delicate but it is perfection.

The counter is the perfect spot for a few little things like my new vintage vanity mirror from the Pasadena flea market and my new Barr Co. candle.  The cabinet we converted has a lot of storage so I can keep everything tucked away.

I think this is one of my favorite things!!  I love the custom sconces from Cleveland Art.  They are so beautiful the pictures do not even do them justice.  They were the last pieces to be put in and they truly finished the space up.

The shower was really hard to photograph so this is the best way to see it.  We opted for the rain shower head, love it, and a completely glass enclosure.  The remodel was a lot more work than I thought but a great experience, and I am so happy with the results.

Dark Concrete in the bathroom

I promise once my bathroom is complete I will not post about baths for a little while!!  They just seem to be jumping out at me lately.  This one is amazing with the double concrete sink and storage.
I love the contrast with the texture of the baskets and the rustic wood mirrors.

Here is a picture of our progress... why does everything take so very long????

I am in love with the tile and cannot wait to see it grouted and all finished up with the stone tops but that will easily be the end of the week.   Then we still have to paint, trim the windows, install the lights, mirrors and the window coverings.  Wow when I make the list it seems we have barely started.

Simple bath design

So our bath is coming along nicely, I am getting excited to see it all coming together!  I dream of a space like this that is simple clean and very unique, I love the texture of the natural stone and the concrete look of the tub and shower.  The sink is fantastic.  We decided to do the wall mounted fixtures above our vessel sinks, I am keeping my fingers crossed that it all goes well!

The week is coming to an end and I am ready for a little rest and relaxation.

Master Bath Updates

Our Master Bath updates are well under way!  I could not be more excited to get this project completed.  I chose all of the pieces very slowly, which is not normal for me- I was having a tough time making choices.  For the shower we are using Walker Zanger Studio Moderne  Petit Imperial in Jute as the inset with the small matching field tile and trim, I LOVE it!  It looks so amazing!  The sink will be a free standing piece with a limestone top, the kraus vessel sinks, Kholer wall mounted faucets and custom mirrors and lighting.

This is what the bathroom looked like last week (below).  Which was making me crazy.  Since then we have pulled all the tile as well as the mirror, sinks and cabinets, they were so bad.  I will be giving you an update next week on our progress, which I am excited to say does not included exposed insulation!

vessel sink obession..

Well what can I say I love the vessel sinks!  I put one in our guest bath and I have been trying to find something that will work for our master.  I think I may even use the same sink with a different faucet because I am having a hard time finding anything that I like better.  I always forget once a project is done just how many little decisions have to be made to make it complete.  It is always so much harder for me to make decisions about my own house and this little bathroom is not any different!!

Have you found a great vessel sink that you are willing to share??

Here is just a little sneak peek at the accent tile from Walker Zanger that I am using in the shower, I love love it! More to come on that next week...
