Keeping it simple...

 

I have a tendency to get caught on something and not be able to let it go..  for example this fabric from Eskayel I have become totally obsessed with it after finding them via Instagram.  So I took a few minutes and mixed it up with my other current obsessions..  Ro Sham Beaux lighting//the Sunset console//the Marrakesh side table//everything Cisco Brothers ever made.  You know that kinda thing- but when I spotted the vintage shutters.. that was it- someone needs this room.  Please!!?!!  It's fun, fresh, simple and pretty sophisticated if you ask me.

Falling for: Lindsey Adelman Lighting

 

I discovered these beauties by Lindsey Adelman recently and have fallen in love with them!  I cannot wait to incorporate them into a project.  The free form organic modern feeling is amazing!  Each piece is made and designed in New York, using local materials.  The variety of sizes and styles is perfect for pretty much any project you could think of.  LOVE. Love. love.!

weekend wishes...

 

My goodness this week has been a little wild and the weekend is even fuller!  We are off to the Chinese New Year parade in LA today by train... super fun... I hope so!  And a little trip to the Flea Market this Sunday morning sounds about right.

What do you have planned?  

Here are a few things to keep us from losing it during the big game!

Some days just call for a comfortable wordy T.

Las Vegas Market January 2014 {day 2}

 

On day two I was even happier with what we found.  More new showrooms means more wonderful new displays to love.  This is Fine Lines new showroom- the bar was perfect and the merchandising on the shelves was even better.

 

I have to find a way to incorporate something similar to this wood wall shelving system from HomArt into one of my new projects.

 

We found a great assortment of natural hides at the show.  I ordered a bit of this to have a laptop case made for myself- I have been searching but have come up short so I guess I have to take it into my own hands!

 

Love this and need to use it.

 

Cisco Brothers always makes me happy.. I love the furniture, the quality, the styling, the reuse of materials, attention to detail and the lighting is amazing always!

 

Oly was back - this chandelier is amazing and I cannot wait to show it to my client for her bedroom.

 

Natural Curiosities just perfect and they started making a line of screen printed clothing- I cannot wait to check that out.

 

Then there was Ro Sham Beaux.  I was in heaven.  This plum combo was perfectly beautiful.  I wanted every single piece.
