Currently: media consoles

Let's face it sometimes you need somewhere to hide your media goodies or maybe you want to use it as bar.  Here are a few of my current favorites for either purpose.

1// This is one of my all time favorite pieces.  I have used it before and will use it again..
   Moro Media Cabinet from Room and Board.

2// A little cutie.. perfectly small which comes in handy so many times in apartment living.

3// Dressers work for me too.  Anything can be modified to fit what you need..

4// For those who need a twist of modern (and have wireless components)

5// A little color never hurt anyone!

6// I am definitely playing favorites with this one.  Our Sunset console seems to work everywhere.

Currently: Outdoor lounging

Spring is upon us, even if it does not seem like it quite yet, and everyone has come out with their latest outdoor furniture designs.  I love this time of year when it is still a little to early to spend all of your time outside but you can steal moments in the sunshine...

These are just  few of my favorites for a little pick me up outside..

1. Love this modern take out outdoors from West Elm with teak wood.

2.  When we were in Puerto Rico a while back I fell in love with the furnishings at the resort.  They had a bunch of pieces that were made of different cording materials and aluminum.  This little Huron sofa reminds me of that.  Adore it.

3. Palecek makes a great group of all weather wicker pieces.  These make me think of the great combinations we see in European gardens of sturdy wood tables and modern dining chairs.. 

4.  Need an extra seat?  This wicker stool has a swivel to it.

5.  Great little sofa from World Market.  Great price, perfect color and simple clean lines. Love.

6. Peacock chairs are so so fun.  They remind me of being a kid (we had one in our bedroom).  This piece from Anthropologie is perfection- check out the blue colorway!

Currently: Brass lighting

 Right now I seem to want to add a brass lamp to every project I am working on... it seems to add just that little bit of modern that I have been needing lately.  Here are my current favorites.
