at the table: Easter in lavender and gold

 

It's almost Easter, I love Easter, it is full of sweets and family and it's not overly stressful!  I found these gold rimmed vintage plates at the flea market and knew they would be a perfect main attraction for this table setting.  Wishing you a wonderful weekend and holiday!

Trending {going for gold..}

 

 

I have been seeing some of the best little gold accents out and about lately..  I love this little bit of glamor in a space!  I am dying over the honeycomb table from Target above, it is such a deal I grabbed one at the store this weekend, I know I should not buy things without a spot for them but I really really wanted it, so I am making a spot for it.

As this is my latest obsession I thought why not share it with everyone... it makes me feel better that way...

One glimpse at this beautiful French home and I was smitten.  A perfectly wonderful mix of old and older makes it so special.    The mirrors and stone alone are just the right amount of sparkle and rough texture.  The result is a casual luxe that we dream about.

As of late I have been very inspired by gold and guilding..  it makes my heart skip a beat just a little bit.

I came across these pictures and fell in love, I know I have seen them before but it was fun to see them all together and check the little story behind them.  A temporary home is a great place to be a little creative and have some fun.  I love the eclectic combination with color really tying it all together.

Dark grey walls

I love the contrast in these spaces.  With the dark walls you can set off so many wonderful soft colors and it gives such a beautiful back drop for the textures of the wood and the gold frames.  I could just move right in.
