Natural light in the kitchen is the most amazing thing- that and the fresh air that the open windows bring to the space.  These windows are beautiful and open up the garden outside what a dream.  I love the farmhouse sink and the gorgeous detail on the ceiling too.

Grey living...

 Dare I say it has been difficult as of late to find inspiring interior images...  (shh..) I have been overwhelmed by seeing the same images again and again.  No matter how I re arrange them in my head I am not feeling inspired.  It is a problem that stems from my occupation I do believe!  Sometimes I need a little breather to recharge the creative batteries and get started again.  This however is AMAZING // deep contrast // vintage mixed with new // grey // need I say more.

I hope you had an amazing weekend.  Saturday was productive here but Sunday was pretty relaxed!  I am sorry for not posting this weekend I needed to unplug and check out so that I can be refreshed and ready for what the coming week brings.... projects projects projects!  I will admit to a little guilty pleasure I over indulged on this weekend though - I am addicted to watching Gossip Girl on netflix and cannot get enough!  I hope you have a wonderful week planned...I wish I was spending time in this fabulous space working through the third season of GG.

greige wood paneling..

 

Simple elegance in this dining room is just amazing... simple clean lines with just enough detail to make it perfect.  

 It is a wonderful start for a Friday don't you think?  I am almost done with my installations this week, it always seems to take a bit more time than you think, with a little something coming up here or there.  I hopefully will be able to share some pictures tomorrow.  But for now I will take a second to day dream about the upcoming weekend and spending a little time for me.

Rich in detail

My goodness it has been quite a week already and it is only Wednesday!  I am loving the moldings in this space.  They are the  perfect inspiration for my Family room wood detailing that we are planning for next year.

Light Oak Wood Flooring

I have had wood flooring on my mind this week as I am specifying a big design job and have chosen to use a light oak wood flooring.  The flooring pictured above is by far one of my favorites and I have used it several times over the years.  We are debating on the chevron or some other pattern for the space as it is quite large.  I am looking to install this same floor in my Living and Dining area in the coming months also- which I am even more excited about.  Do you have a favorite that you have used?  If you do I would love to hear about it!

Grey Doors...

 

Lately I have been seriously considering painting some of my interior doors a light grey.

This is hard because my walls all have a color on them so I would definitely have to change that to a cleaner color a light creamy white or a slightly darker grey.  I just love this look and am completely afraid to commit to it..

This bath is so simple and calming.  I wish my bath could be so easy to manage, but we have all of those real life things that we have to hideaway so more storage is definitely needed.
