weekend wishes...

 

We are heading into a nice long weekend and I am very excited to take a little time to relax and enjoy our weather along with a few days without plans and activities.  

Spring is coming, I just know it and this wedding makes me want to entertain outside as well as grow some serious ivy on the boring exterior walls of my house. 

I am always on the look out for something comfortable yet beautiful, I'll take it!

The perfect woven bag

 

Happy Monday all! 

 I hope your weekend was wonderful... we are riding high off of a winning sports filled weekend here.  

There is so much to share and I am sorry to be so late with this post!  I fell hard for this photo- oh I know it is simple and clean and just a bunch of bags, but bags are one of my favorite things..

I like them all from the canvas shopping bag to the woven tote, the leather clutch to the vintage handbag.. I simply cannot get enough of them (which is a problem)!

Do you have a favorite?  Do you have an obsession like me? 

Aside from the bags this week is going to be full of wonderful things.. we are getting prepared for our upcoming One Kings Lane on November 11th.  Adding wonderful new pieces to the shop and digging in on a couple of projects to get them moving before the holiday rush!  I am also looking for a new challenge for myself for 2014 - I am so close to completing my 50 books for this year, I can hardly believe it!

Tote obsession...

 

This is a problem.. I am completely obsessed with totes and bags..  I was flipping through the new issue of Souvenir magazine and was clicking through on products that I liked, once I finished the magazine I realized that I had linked up to multiple websites, but each link was for a different bag.  So I guess I am obsessed just a little!!  I have bags everywhere in the house, I have woven bags holding my bath towels, picnic supplies, fabric samples- you name it!   I like woven, vintage, linen, pretty much anything that would carry goodies home from any kind of store or hold things at home, but I truly love to use them at the flea market and farmer's market- it feels great to come home without a single plastic bag wrapped around my goodies.

Do you love them like I do- have I lost my mind (don't answer that one)!?

I love that even the smallest of spaces can be made into an entry, just a little place to greet guests and show a little peek into what is beyond in your home.  The perfect little spot to drop your keys or keep your purse.
