By Invitation Only: A June wedding...

I am sure every bride would say that there are things they would have changed about their wedding.  There are so many ways I would have done things differently!

I was young and pretty simple at the time...

So here is my now wedding if I was to do it again...

gorgeous hand done invitations are a must and I would love to have a wedding in Paris of course... but maybe some where a little bit more quaint more sheltered out in the French countryside ...
Amazing hand made maps to send the guests straight to us.

Always appetizers and cocktails.. Maybe even break tradition and start before the ceremony just to loosen up the crowd..

Beautiful places to sit make conversation and relax..

A simply beautiful dress..

 Relaxed gorgeous hair..

 A little color with peonies..

Out door seating with candle light.... a small party for close friends only.. not everyone we have ever met!

An amazing cake..  cake is one of the best parts!

And more than anything I would remember to have fun..

Sweets for each guest along with beautiful delicious food. Maybe I could convince Eddy Rocq to come to France to cater for me?

Rocq Macarons is offering one of you lucky readers the chance to win a "Sweetheart" box of their heart shaped macarons for Valentine's Day.

Each heart shaped bit of goodness is handmade here in California and delivered right to your Valentine!  They even have special flavors in the heart shapes, my favorite is the Peach Mango with the Raspberry coming in a very close second.

Each box contains a selection of the following gluten free bits of yumminess :

• Dark Chocolate, a delicious chocolate shell filled with a Valrhona chocolate ganache .
• Raspberry, made with fresh raspberries, this sweet berry-flavored cookie is filled with a rich white chocolate ganache.
• Peach Mango, a fusion of fresh peach and mango infused for a burst of juicy fruity ganache.
• Red Velvet, an explosion of flavor that doesn’t overwhelm the palate, the moist red velvet crust shields the creamy bourbon vanilla bean filling.

Remember to order by February 8th to get yours!

Rocq Macarons {a giveaway}

I am super excited to share a sweet little bit of Parisian life right here in the states with you!
The amazing chef Eddie Rocq has brought us hand made Macarons beautifully packaged, that can be delivered directly to your door, making them the perfect gift.

Each of these little cookies is handmade to order and we can get them right here!  I was so excited to discover that I now can have one of my favorite things here at home.  Each box offers a variety of flavors and you can even select your own.  I am completely loving the chocolate and the pumpkin, the hubby and my little one are partial to the Vanilla, what can you do....   They will even be offering heart shaped macarons in specialty flavors for Valentine's and Mother's Day too, how perfect is that?!

A great little note on the history of the Macaron..

The Macaron cookie was born in Italy, introduced by the chef of Catherine de Medicis in 1533 at the time of her marriage to the Duc d’Orleans who became king of France in 1547 as Henry II. The first Macarons were simple cookies, made of almond powder, sugar and egg whites. It wasn’t’ until the 20th century when French pastry chefs decided to join two macaron shells together and fill them up with buttercream, jams and ganache, which is the version we recognize and love today.

Rocq Macaron's was sweet enough to offer a box of their Holiday Collection {This is our selections of 24 Amazing flavors in the "Parisian" Box set} to one of our readers!!!!

In addition to Macarons, Chef Eddie Rocq offers fantastic catering services which we love.

To enter to win please visit the Rocq Macaron shop and leave a comment below letting us know your favorite. For an additional chance to win tweet about our giveaway (it's easy just hit the tweet button below) and leave a second comment!  Our winner will be chosen at random Saturday the 10th.

Check out Rocq Macaron's on facebook and twitter too..
