Design Traveler: From girls school to hotel in Stockholm

I love a good building transformation!  The gorgeous Miss Clara hotel was previously an all girls school in Stockholm.  The windows, the details, the beds, the flooring.. okay so you get it.  What a perfect way to stay.

weekend wishes...

We are looking forward to a semi relaxed weekend here.  There is a little rain in the schedule so maybe we can get somethings done around the house too.  I fell for these little beauties this week at the market and they made an appearance in our photo shoot that we did on Friday too (more on that next week).

Here are a few things that I came across this week...

Gorgeous French Country wedding inspiration.
I am in love with these little puffy beds..  hum where could I use one or two?
Homemade donuts.. umm yes please!
A BIG THANK YOU to Shari at Little Blue Deer for the facelift on the blog!  I love it and I hope you do too!
I am searching for hooks for the cabana... cannot decide!! What do you think of these?

Hope you have super fun weekend!

Project update: Seal Beach house..

It feels like Friday already... maybe that is just wishful thinking?  I have had a chance to visit some projects in process this week and I am excited to share them with you.  We have seen this house before and both the exterior and interior are coming along nicely.  We are in the home stretch.  The landscaping is coming along nicely and the decorative fence is in.. love it!  Everything looks so clean and fresh I cannot wait to show it to you complete.

The kitchen and baths are almost there also, just little details, appliances and back splash tile in here.

Once we can see the floors it is going to be so great.

The interior had some funky little things going on like this brick wall in one of the bedrooms.  It was originally white.  We decided to make it match the rest of the room just to keep it simple, this room is still awaiting carpeting.

trending: {always indigo}

No matter what I always seem to come back around to blue... lately (the past couple of years) it has been vintage indigo for my own home.  I love the soft details of the fabrics and the unique feeling to each piece.  Lately though it has been a little bit of an obsession as I fall a little deeper.  Paints, wall coverings, accessories, porcelain and art seem to be all around and though I am not one to over commit I thought you might like a little blue in your life too...

Las Vegas Market January 2014 {day 1}

After a quick trip to LA for their show on Friday we hopped on a plane for Vegas on Sunday to hit Las Vegas Market Center for a couple of days.  The view from the plane was beautiful.. (it looks kinda like an ad for Southwest- not intentionally).  We hit the ground running at the show and I was so impressed with the addition of new vendors and the new pieces available!

A quick stop at Visual Comfort is always worth while.  This piece was huge and amazing.

Four Hands always has some great pieces and their arrangements did not disappoint this time around.

I think that this wall paper in the Global Views showroom was one of my favorite things from the entire trip, I took more than enough pictures of it.

The rugs at Dovetail were perfection.

Noir never fails to impress me with detailed and unique pieces.

I am currently obsessing a little bit over the blue jars, I have added a few to the shop and plan on increasing the selection a bit as they are great accent pieces. I love them with the mustard yellow on these chairs.
